Mr. Punch

Episode 6

Dennis, Johnny, and Frankie review Mr. Punch, as written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated and designed by Dave McKean. In this episode of the graphic novel podcast we discuss the history of Mr. Punch, the connection one of the gang made to Lady Elaine Fairchild of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood; butcher someone’s name, try to find the reason why so many characters die in a Punch and Judy performance; why the story requires multiple readings; falling in love with the bait girl, and the art and storytelling of Mr. Punch.
